Greetings traveller, welcome to my cool blog.
I’m korendian, I play a lot of old shooters and listen to gospel music. I’ve created this blog primarily to collect together various forum and blog postings i’ve made over the last decade before they vanish to link rot. If all goes well, I intend to make at least a couple more.
Most of the posts you’ll find here are about id software’s Doom or Quake. I used to play a lot of Doom and record demos of difficult maps, but i’ve become much less active in recent years. My new favourite game is Quake because it’s a lot less stressful and it has perhaps the most satisfying movement system of all time. Both games are bolstered by a thriving modding community who have generated countless hours of maps and gameplay modifications to enjoy - many of which are at a quality that’s better than what you get in a modern triple A game. My reviews and posts here are my way of giving back - a token gesture weighted against a lifetime of passive consumption.
